It has a leather covered interior and six glass bottles. The lidded compartment contains a further three bottles. The gilt embossed lid inscribed “Miniature Dispensary & Tasteless Medicines, Kirby & Co, 14 Newman Street, London W for Domestic Use” opens to reveal a further eight green glass bottles with wooden lids.
