This is a lovely, English country antique oak salt box that dates from the late 18th century. A good, large size, so could be used as a stool too. In very good condition and the period oak is a good, original colour. This antique oak salt box has a sliding lid to the top to allow access inside. All very solid and intact, a lovely country antique kitchen piece.
