This stunning example, made by the highly respected London manufacturers & retailers Army & Navy of Westminster, is actually a double capacity box with a facility for a top hat in the base and a second tier above — perhaps for a bowler. It has a rich deep colour with a glowing patination and the stitching is of the very highest quality. English, late Victorian/early 20th century.
