1870, it has the most spectacular inlays along with a mother of pearl key escutcheon with key and working lock. This beautiful antique box has aged to a rich Golden Walnut shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
