Description

An exquisite, perfectly formed miniature Georgian trunk in English oak. This superb tiny coffer is an exact scaled-down version of the common trunk found so often in the antiques world. It retains its original finish with the richest of colours and the deepest patination imaginable. It would make an ideal trinket or jewellery box, a desk tidy, or a general purpose storage trunk in any room in the house. It is English, c.1790 — c.1810.
