This outstanding 19th Century Regency Rosewood and Brass Inlaid Antique Box dates from ca. 1830 and was designed as a ladies travelling, jewellery or vanity box. It is stunning quality with decorative brass inlays and brass carrying handles to the sides. There is also a key with working lock. The interior has the original foxed small mirror with silk linings and this fine antique is a rich Rosewood shade with a striking grain, is in extremely good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
