Very Nice Regency Goncalo Alves Box

Description

Very nicely made Regency goncalo alves box of sarcophacus shape. The box is veneered on mahogany throughout. The box has its original acorn shape solid goncalo alves turned feet and original brass lock. It probably had a division down the centre inside with lids originally but is now empty. The box is in very good condition apart from a couple of very small veneer slithers on the top. The box is a nice original colour with waxed finish.
