Description

A rare one of a kind octagon shaped tea caddy in great original condition. The main wood on the exterior is mahogany with boxwood bounding around the edging which inlays of sycamore wood. The centre lid is home to the iconic stag inlay which is very rare for this period. The interior comprises of two lids also made from mahogany with boxwood bounding. A truly stunning example. It dates to the Georgian period c.1790 and comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
