Description

A Georgian oak apothecary box with a void interior. Lift up lid with working lock and key. Three drawers below all of which can be locked with sliding bolts from the interior of the upper two sections. When the lid is locked then the bolted lower three drawers cannot open. The upper sections (2) show the shadow of bottles which may have been fitted but are now lacking. Original decorative brass pull to the lid and brass lock escutcheon. Original bow pulls to the drawers and original brass hinges . (Two keys). Good patina and colour.
