Rare Regency Tea Caddy C.1820

Description

A unique large tea caddy made in an unusual shape in which is rare to come by. Its very attractive and in great all around condition. The exterior is made from primarily rosewood with diamond inlays made from satinwood, tulipwood and bounded in boxwood. Its got two original brass drop handles on the sides and sits on the four original brass feet. The overall quality continues through out the interior with inlay in the lid. Inside are the two original canisters which lift out and a glass cut mixing bowl. This example dates to Regency c.1820 and comes with fully functioning lock and key.
