Fitted Burr Walnut Vanity Case

Description

A superb burr walnut box with fitted interior. The box opens to reveal a selection of silver plated top bottles and jars, all in perfect condition. The top has a rouched velvet lining and can be reverved to reveal a mirror with leather letter folders. The two jewellery trays are spring loaded from inside. The exterior is brass bound and has engraved eschucheons and cartrouche. With working lock and key. c.1850
