Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 1890s.
All jars and bottles have superb (and particularly heavy guage) solid silver lids, with beaded decoration and all are engraved with the family crest & motto.

In the lid is a gilt framed mirror which matches the gilded hand-mirror in the drop down front. There are 2 drawers below, one ("secret") fitted for jewellery. In untouched condition and a truly superb fitted box. Hallmarked for London 1890.
The engraved: "Mon Dieu est ma Roche" is the family motto for Lord Fermoy, a baronetcy created by Queen Victoria in 1856.
