Description

A beautiful rosewood writing slope which is covered in solid brass. Brass bounded for greater strength and durability. Brass inlay on the centre lid and brass flush handles on the sides. It’s of a large size and is quite the statement piece. The interior comprises of the writing slope area with two secret drawers fitted. Its a charming example and dates to the Regency period c.1820. It comes with fully functioning lock and key.
