Description

This ANTIQUE HUNTLEY & PALMERS BUSCUIT TIN is made to resemble a collection of leather-bound books, including Robinson Crusoe, Pickwick Papers and The History of England.

On underside of the tin, where the colours are brightest and the marbling can be seen to its best effect, it bears the name Huntley & Palmers Biscuits, Reading, London.

The TIN is in good condition retaining nearly all its original decoration with only the buckle pin missing. It even has its original lift-up tab to the lid.
