Large Mahogany Writing Slope C.1810

Description

A large sized campaign writing slope made from mahogany. Its brass bounded all around to add to the strength and durability as it would have been used in travelling around. It comprises of a side draw easily accessible by the brass flush handle. The interior comprises of the writing slope area with a red baize. It comes with two glass cut inks and secret drawers. It dates to the Georgian period c.1810. Comes with fully functioning lock and key.
