A beautiful twin lid tea caddy made from burr walnut. The burr walnut gives off an attractive swirling grain to the wood. The main exterior has an edging made from boxwood going around the whole box. The caddy dates to the Regency period c.1820 and sits on four bun feet. The interior comprises of burr walnut matching lids. Comes with fully functioning lock and key. A great collectors example.
