American Oak Desktop Stationary Cabinet, Circa 1900

Description

Oak stationary cabinet of unusual design, intended to stand on a desk and made from American oak.

The hinged fall-front reveals a fitted interior. There is a brass shield on the top and a brass plaque on the front, both (fortunately) without any inscription.

Good colour and original condition (lacking key).

Width at base: 9 inches; 23 cms

Width at top: 8.25 inches; 21 cms

Depth at base: 7 inches; 17.75 cms

Depth at top: 5.75 inches; 14.50 cms

Height: 10.25 inches; 26 cms
