19th-century Coromandal workbox, with mother of pearl oval in the top and excursion. The interior has a mirrored lid which opens for letter storage. There is a fitted tray with two pin cushions thimble holders, needlework tools with mother of pearl handles. Six storage compartments with lids and seven compartments for thread. With storage under the tray which is lined with silver paper. Makers name (Wedgwood & sons 9 cornhill)
