Description

This is an attractive antique Chinese cloisonne lidded box dating from the Qing dynasty, circa 1900. The box is expertly worked with detailed enamelling throughout the piece depicting dragons chasing the flaming pearl. The colours in the glasswork are most appealing and are laid onto a solid brass casket which is raised on attractive brass ball feet. The piece is in very good original condition with only a couple of slight losses to the enamel on the inside of the lid as photographed. The box measures 12 cms by 9 cms by 7 cms high.
