Rosewood & Silver Gent's Vanity Box C.1820

Description

A fully fitted gent’s vanity box. The main exterior wood is rosewood and its bounded with brass around the edging. It’s in mint condition all around with two flush brass handles on the side and a oval brass inlay on the centre lid. The interior is completely original with silver lid bottles, not not all of them are hallmarked. Comes with vanity tools and various compartments. A compartment in the lid and also a storage area below the lift out tray. A true special example. Dates to the regency Georgian period c.1820. Comes with fully functioning lock and key.
