A Military Writing Slope

18th century
Description

A Georgian mahogany military writing slope with brass cornering and military flush handles. Un marked central cartouche to the lid. Period glass inkwell with brass screw cap. Pin lockable long side drawer. Re baized writing surface . The timber is of excellent grain and colour. Some minor damage to the bottom corner brasses but not noticeable when in situ. (see photos).Working key.
