An unusual double snuff shoe box with a sliding lid with brass pique work decoration, initials look to be I M and the date 1840. To the underneath of the shoe more brass pique work and two hearts.

This was probably made and given as a love token for a wedding.

It measures 6.5cm l x 3.2cm w x 2.5cm h
