Rosewood Brass Bound Campaign Box C.1800

Description

A quality campaign box made from lovely rosewood. Its brass bounded for greater strength and durability as it would have been used on travels. It comes with a brass inlaid handle on the centre lid with brass hinges. It’s an early piece dating to the Georgian period of c.1800. The interior is original kitted out with compartment and a tray that lifts outwards. Comes with two original glass ink well’s. It also comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
