Description

This is a late Victorian writing slope. It is encased in black leather with silver plated mounts. There is a shield shaped escutcheon to the front. The box opens to revel the fitted interior, which is tan leather and what I believe to be simulated macassar ebony.

The box comes with an old pencil, fountain pen and a bone letter opener.

One of the silver plated mounts is loose and needs gluing or pinning down. There is pencil writing to the inside of the box.
