Description

A 19th century French Palaise Royale rosewood jewellery box with brass mounts having a domed top with a bird crest decoration, the interior is lined with purple fabric, an engraved decorative scutcheon with an operational lock and key.

Measures: 10cm high x 22.5cm wide x 16.5cm depth

Condition

Good overall, crack in top mount where the bird is, slight staining on original internal silk.
