Georgian Mahogany Double Layered Box C.1790

Description

A unique styled octagon shaped box. This is an early piece dating back to the Georgian period of c.1790 with the iconic shell inlay on the centre lid. The main exterior wood is mahogany which has been bounded in tulipwood.

The inside is unique as it opens the other way to provide two layers. It comes with fully functioning lock and key.
