Rosewood Silver Plate Vanity Box C.1840

Description

Here is a spectacular example of a fully fitted vanity box. It’s in stunning condition throughout. The main exterior wood is rosewood with integrate mother of pearl inlay. The inlay is all intact and in great original condition. The interior is fully kitted out with the vanity equipment. All the pot’s are made from silver plate. The interior lid is lined in red velvet. The top trays lift’s out to reveal more storage space. It has a side draw to the right hand side. A truly stunning collector’s example. Comes with fully functioning lock and key and dates to early Victorian c.1840.
