Description

A Geo III Chippendale mahogany single tea caddy. Very pleasing in its proportions and glowing mahogany veneer. Original lid pull,lock,escutcheon and hinges. Canted top with boxwood stringing. There are battle scars with chips and repairs mot noteably the back veneer cracked and been reapplied at some time (this looks much worse in the photograph than it is). It is never the less a nice piece and it also has its original floating lid to the interior.
