A Regency Partridgewood Tea Caddy

Description

A Regency period partridgewood tea caddy with boxwood stringing to the edges. Oval bone escutcheon ,original brass lock and brass hinges. Double lidded interior compartments with turned bone pulls. The lids have been split in the past and rejoined (see photos). Generally intact but with a few small blemishes caused during its life since 1820 (The photos show these well).
