Description

This super quality ANTIQUE WALNUT GLASS-TOPPED DISPLAY BOX dates from circa 1860.

The BOX retains its original bevelled glass top and red, buttoned interior, with a pocket either side. It was possibly used for jewellery but would make an ideal container for displaying and protecting a precious object which can then still be seen.

It is original throughout.
