Antique French Boulle and Enamel Perfume / Scent Bottle Box

Description

An absolutely stunning Napoleon III perfume bottle casket, totally original, fresh to the market and untouched.

The box is made from Ebony wood and is beautifully decorated on the top and front with tortoiseshell veneer, colourful enamel and engraved brass.

The interior is lucky enough to have retained it's totally original linings and with the two gilded crystal perfume bottles, both without damage.

Excellent all-round condition; some crazing to enamel, a few nibbles to the edges of the shell at front and some minor loss to the enamel on the lid, none of which are a problem, simply mentioned for accuracy.

The box measures 4 5/8" x 3" x 4" tall and each perfume bottle measures 1 1/4" square.
