A very good quality and fully-fitted GENTLEMAN'S DRESSING CASE in lovely original condition.

The well-figured brass-bound coromandel wood case opens to reveal the interior with NINE silver-topped bottles and jars, plus engraved silver shaving brush; pair of razors and two pads of original tools. There are two spring-loaded drawers, one of which, in the base, is beautifully fitted for jewellery, whilst to the lid is the concealed mirror and leather-bound compartment for documents, letters etc.. The silver is hallmarked for London 1874. 12.5 x 9.5 x 8ins (32 x 24 x 20cms)
