Stunning Rosewood Brass Inlay Writing Slope C.1880

Description

An absolutely stunning writing slope with decorative detailed brass inlaid all around which is all in great shape. The main exterior wood is rosewood. The sides of the box consist of a flush brass handle great for carrying around. The interior comprises of the writing slope section with an original leather in great condition. Comes with two original ink well which are brass screw tops with cut glass. The lids lift to reveal more storage space underneath. Comes with fully functioning lock and key. Stunning example. Dates to Victorian c.1880.
