This is a charming desk box which would have been used for letters and papers. A small slot on the lid to post through and a glass front to see the inside. It’s a unique styled box in great condition all around. It’s made from mahogany with a decoration throughout. It dates to the late Victorian period of c.1890 and comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
