Description

This is a very charming hand painted box which dates from the 19th Century. The naively painted box is in the shape of a house or chapel and features an angel in a pulpit to the lid and Saint David and another angel image to each side.

The box is in very good order retaining all of its original paint; there has also been some gilding and just a little of this remains. The box measures 23 cms in height, 21 cms wide and 15 cms deep.
