George III Mahogany Tea Caddy. Secret Drawer.

Description

Good 18th century George III mahogany tea caddy of a nice shape. The caddy with moulded and shaped top with original brass swan neck handle. The caddy stands on small bracket feet. Original lock with rococo style brass escution. The caddy has two divisions inside and has a SECRET caddy spoon drawer to the base. The right hand side of the caddy lifts up, when the lid is open which reveals the secret oak caddy spoon drawer in the base. The caddy is in very good condition for age and is a lovely original colour.
