Rare Oval Mahogany Inlaid Georgian Tea Caddy C.1790

Description

Possibly the nicest Tea Caddy I’ve had the pleasure of selling. A rare and mint original conditioned Oval single lid Tea Caddy. The main exterior wood is mahogany with a combination of inlaid tulipwood and banded in boxwood and ebony. Comes with the iconic Sheraton inlaid shells and one inside the lid which is rare. Has a done handle to the inside lid. A real collectors piece dating to Georgian c.1790.
