Huge Size Early 19th Century Lignum String Box. C. 1800

Description

Superb large size late 18th to early 19th century turned lignum vitae string box. Great design with the moulded base and nicely shaped lid.

The lid screws off and the threads are still good.

The colour is awesome. A couple of minor age shakes.

This is the biggest string box of this type I have ever seen.
