A charming and fine example of a Regency Rosewood tea caddy. The caddy is in amazing original condition with a great colour and patina. It stands on bun feet and has the original turned rosewood ring handles to the side. It is inlaid with mother of pearl and pewter. The caddy is typical sarcophagus shape with a gadrooned edge to the lid. The interior is all original with two compartments and ruffled velvet lining. The caddy retains a working key. C.1830.
