Description

A stunning quality sewing box. The main exterior wood is coromandel giving some attractive streaks across the box. The box is all completely original through out and fitted.

Fine inlaid brass work through out. The interior comprises of engraved mother of pearl sewing reels which are produced in high quality. The sewing tools are by a maker S.Mordan. Comes with an inbuilt mirror to lid and a secret compartment for extra storage under the tray which lifts out. Highly collectable piece dating to the Victorian period c.1850.
