A truly superb quality Lady's DRESSING and JEWELLERY CASE in fine original condition.

The well-figured rosewood case is bound in brass and opens to reveal the beautifully fitted interior with eleven silver-topped bottles and jars, all finely engraved and fully hallmarked. To either side are two trays of tools and implements, including scissors; penknives; corkscrews; silver pencil etc., whilst below is a removable tray (for jewellery) and two secret drawers.

Within the lid is the original leather easel mirror and the silver is hallmarked for London 1845. 14ins wide; 10ins deep 6.5ins high (35.5 x 25.5 x 16.5cms)
