Fine Swiss Music Box by Nicole Freres

Description

A very fine quality Swiss MUSIC BOX by the famous makers: Nicole Freres.

The case is of walnut, veneered with rosewood to the lid with a central motif inlaid with various specimen woods. It opens to reveal the piano-forte movement with its 13-inch cylinder and pair of combs with a total of 85 teeth which play six fine tunes (mainly waltzes) perfectly.

A superb music box, typical of Nicole Freres, complete with key and original hand-written tune sheet. 20.5ins wide; 7ins deep; 5ins high. (52 x 17.8 x 12.7cms)
