A Georgian Military Writing Slope

Description

A Georgian military writing slope in close to original condition. With some battle scars but functional and very correct. Hidden drawers with good mechanism to the sping catch. Lockable side drawer with steel and brass pin. Military flush handles. Good original brass corner protection. Shaped cartouche dated 1822. Shaped interior corner bracing. Ratchet supported reading slope with book rest located in the interior when not in use. Original bone pulls to the lids and drawers. Original worn but useable felt writing surface.

Woirking locks and keys.
