A fine quality Satinwood tea caddy. The caddy is of sarcophagus shape with ring drop handles and turned bun feet. The satinwood is superbly figured and of a wonderful colour and patina. The interior is completely original and untouched with even, and amazingly! the original cut glass mixing bowl which is in perfect condition. The two tea canisters are also in satinwood and can be removed. The box is a wonderful untouched example of it''s type and in excellent condition and retains a working key. C.1830.
