The beautifully-figured "Gothic" brass-bound box opens to reveal the original 'Staunton' ivory chess set; ivory draughts/backgammon pieces; gilt cribbage board; markers; dice and gilt pegs.

This tray lifts out to reveal the ivory & ebony folding Chess/backgammon board, whilst further compartments below contain: pair of ebony shakers; counters (bone & MOP); gilt Bezique board and two packs of original Victorian playing cards in mint condition.
