A good early 19th century George IV period 16.5fitted LADY'S DRESSING/JEWELLERY CASE in remarkably fine and original condition.

The brass-bound rosewood case opens to reveal the fully-fitted interior with 11 silver-topped bottles and jars plus a tray of tools and implements which includes 2 superb pairs of ornate cut-steel scissors. A fitted "secret" compartment within the lid opens to reveal the hidden jewellery compartments and it is complete with working Bramah lock and key.
