Rare antique early 19th century George III brass tavern 'honesty' tobacco box by Rich, c 1800 . It has its original key and the coin operated mechanism looks intact and working. It has 2 compartments with hinged covers, one with a push button and raised money slots and stands on 4 ball feet. It is in good original condition with minor surface wear and what appears to be an historic repair to one of the ball feet (see photo) . All very much as you would expect from something that is over 200 years old.
