Description

A pretty late 18th/early 19th century Sheraton period TEA CADDY of unusual "navette" shape.

Veneered overall in well-figured mahogany it is inlaid to the front with garlands of harebells between twin satinwood panels of further harebells It is cross-banded in rosewood with chequered string inlay, whilst the interior retains its original lead lining. 7.5ins (19cms) wide. c.1790
