A very unusual Gothic Revival Casket in the form of a tower. The box is made out of solid walnut with applied silver plated mounts in the shape of fleur de Lys. The casket has a locking door at the front of the base, and has a locking top that has an interior lined with red felt. I am sure the piece had a use but am unable to work out what it was, it would make a great jewellery box etc. The box is of the finest quality and worked from a solid piece of walnut, I have never seen it''s like before and the whole is in excellent condition.
