Good Condition Regency Rosewood Tea Caddy

Description

Good basically un-touched condition late Regency / William IV rosewood and mother-of-pearl inlaid tea caddy of sarcophacus shape. This box is in all original condition except for possibly the glass bowl. Top and front have very nice inlaid mother-of-pearl designs, the sides with original ring handles. The tea caddy has all its original turned rosewood feet.

Inside are both the original tea boxes with hinged lids. The cut glass bowl in the centre has a lift off lid and although a perfect fit may not be original.

The box has its original brass lockbut no key.
